The Girls Curling team from Ashern Central has played incredible this season and hopefully the streak will continue right into provincials on Thursday! They practiced hard over the last few months and grew as a team. They placed third at zones, losing both games to Gimli, who won zones. Overall, they played extremely well and will be a force to reckon with in years to come!

Senior Years Christmas Concert

Ashern Central would like to thank all those who came out to help make our Senior Years Christmas Concert a success! The students have been working and practicing extremely hard in preparation for Wednesday night and with the support of the community their hard work paid off. We had a range of students that played, from beginner to expert. There were a handful of students that were able to deliver their first performance ever on stage in front of an audience and also some grade 12 students that played their last Christmas Concert at Ashern Central.

The night was a stellar success and our school is proud of the hard work and dedication that the students put into Wednesday night. Thank you to the community members who came out to support our talented students and those who donated to the STAAACS Christmas Hamper program to help provide food for two families in need over the holidays!
